Career
I worked as Registrar and lecturer for the Institute of Heraldic & Genealogical Studies before setting up on my own as a freelance researcher and lecturer in March 2008. I am a regular lecturer for both the Society of Genealogists and the IHGS and also write for Family Tree Magazine.
Biography
I have been passionate about family history since I was a teenager and after many years of tracing my own family tree, I studied for the Higher Certificate in Genealogy at the Institute of Heraldic & genealogical Studies in Canterbury, which I passed with distinction.
Specialisation
Apart from Kent research I also specialise in tracing living relatives/adoption cases, Poor Law records and general genealogical research throughout Britain post 1837
